Hi! I am a Hertfordshire based photographer, working out of St Albans, but equally happy to travel to other destinations.
For me, Life is People and Experiences and through my photography, I look to capture natural moments. From spontaneous scenarios to candid artistic portraits – it is the simple, honest moments that resonate with me the most, and help to ensure a unique collection of photos personal to you.
My passion for story telling through pictures comes from my love of cinematography from a young age. And it is this combined long term passion and knowledge that inspires my photography. I offer cinematic reportage style photography alongside artistic fine art portraits to portray your wedding in a contemporary style.
Every wedding tells a different story – whether you are bringing together an extensive circle of family and friends, or holding a more intimate gathering to share in the celebrations of your union. You will have carefully composed the flow of your day to present your love for one another, and a key aspect of my approach is to capture you and your guests enjoying your narrative unfolding naturally. Without feeling as though special moments are on pause or coordinated interactions.
It will be a day of many emotions – with laughter, tears, reflection and looking forward – a day of making timeless memories to share for years to come.

Photographs that celebrate a special occasion – be it a reunion, an engagement or an anniversary or just because – provide a timeless keepsake for yourselves and one to share with family and friends.
We live in a social media driven world, and it’s tempting to be satisfied with a smart phone photograph. But there are moments that simply cannot be captured with the same image resolution as a professional mirrorless camera.
Whether you would like to revisit a shared place of significance, somewhere new, or bring along your pets – the aim of this romantic shoot is to ensure we create the cinematic pictures you have in mind. Pictures that can be on your phone, but also presented as beautiful high quality framed photographs or canvas prints. Your images will equally be suitable for engagement, wedding, anniversary or party stationary of a superior quality in both digital and print formats.

Creating a great first impression, visually, in today’s world is an essential marketing tool.
My portrait shoots are suitable for corporate headshots, branding and actor/model portfolios. I offer fun, relaxed, creative and behind the scenes shoots, to best capture your personality.
I like to photograph you in situ, or at an appropriate location specific to the image you want to project, personally and professionally.
Where possible, I love to make use of natural lighting and the atmosphere of the location. I’m equally happy working indoors or outdoors, whatever the weather, to achieve the images you require.
Event Photography
Events come in all sizes, encompassing many different people and industries, and so, the purpose for which they are held. From heartfelt fundraisers to corporate socials for awarding teams, thanking clients, celebratory soirees, commemorative garden parties . . . the variety is immense.
Possibly the most important aspect of event photography in each case, is remaining constantly aware of what the pictures will be used for by the client – from social media, newsletters, corporate literature, photo libraries, news outlets, to name a few possibilities. As with wedding photography, events are high energy commisions, requiring calm focus and politeness when working at speed. Together with knowing what not to photograph and when not to use flash, are so important when translating a brief into successful results.
A brief might be minimal or detailed, it might require specific guest shots, carried out with discretion, subtle direction or both. There might be scene set ups, performance stages, corporate stands, product or activity interaction and so much more. All brought together by you to create a tailored atmosphere. Capturing these multi-layered elements is something that I embrace from acquiring the RAWS to my final edits bringing to life the images you need.
